Purpose and Coverage
Whatcom County’s official sources are unusually specific: the Sheriff’s roster covers current county custody, the bookings and releases pages cover selected dates, and courts handle the case outcome. Washington DOC uses a separate state-custody search. We identify those boundaries, point to the agency that controls each record, and explain the formal request route when a public portal is not enough. This site does not host a gallery or claim that a booking photo is generally available.

We are not connected with the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, the Jail, a police department, Washington DOC, or any government agency. We cannot confirm that a person is in custody, release anyone, post a bond, arrange a visit, obtain a record, or provide legal advice. Only the originating agency, records custodian, court, or licensed attorney can handle those matters.
